STREAMS Player has no account, advertising, analytics, telemetry, or service operated by the author.
Network access
The application connects when you explicitly refresh the public stream catalog, play a selected stream, or keep Grid mode active while visible video previews refresh. Those requests go to the relevant catalog or stream provider and are subject to that provider's policies. The optional preview pack offered after a catalog update is downloaded only if you accept it.
Local data
STREAMS Player stores its catalog state, manual entries, pins, playback marks, cached preview frames within a 150 MB budget, and the diagnostic logs of the current and previous session under %LOCALAPPDATA%\StreamsPlayer. This data stays on your device unless you copy or back it up - or unless you use Send logs to the author in Settings, which packs the two diagnostic logs plus your app version, Windows version and settings into an archive and opens your mail program so you can attach and send it to serzhyale@gmail.com. That archive is prepared only when you press that button, the logs in it name the streams that were played, and nothing is ever sent without you pressing Send in your own mail program.
