Setting What it does
Select Music Source Selects the folder or resource used as the music source during slideshow playback.
Set as default image viewer Registers this app as the default handler for image files on the device.
Crop images to fill screen Crops images to fill the entire screen when viewing in fullscreen, removing letterboxing.
Dynamic Background Extension Extends the image edges into a blurred background to fill the screen without cropping.
Load images at full resolution Loads images at their original resolution instead of downsampling them for display.
Play music during slideshow Plays music from the selected music source in the background during a slideshow.
Support GIF animation Enables animated GIF playback in the image viewer.
Support static images Enables support for static image formats (JPEG, PNG, WebP, etc.) in the file browser and viewer.

Video

Setting What it does
Clear Selection Clears the currently selected snapshot destination resource.
Select Destination Resource Selects the destination resource where video frame snapshots are saved.
Set as default video player Registers this app as the default handler for video files on the device.
Open video files in fullscreen mode Launches video playback straight into fullscreen mode when a video is opened from Browse.
Show FPS over player Displays the current frames-per-second counter over the video while it is playing.
Show video thumbnails Generates and displays thumbnail previews for video files in the file browser.
Support video Enables video file support so videos appear in the file browser and can be played.
Save video frames to clipboard Automatically copies the captured video frame snapshot to the clipboard.

Audio

Setting What it does
Select Photos Source Chooses the folder or resource used as the photo source during audio playback.
Set as default audio player Registers this app as the default handler for audio files on the device.
Visualizer when no cover art Chooses what is shown in place of missing album cover art during audio playback.
Show random photos during audio playback Displays random photos from the selected source while audio is playing.
Save downloaded media data locally Caches downloaded track metadata and cover art on the device to avoid re-fetching.
Search audio covers online Fetches missing cover art from the internet when a local cover is not found.
Search only on Wi-Fi Restricts online cover art search to Wi-Fi connections only, saving mobile data.
Support audio Enables audio file support so audio tracks appear in the file browser and can be played.

Documents

Available in: Standard, Legacy

Setting What it does
Set as default document viewer Registers this app as the default handler for document files on the device.
Large PDF Thumbnails (slow) Generates preview thumbnails for large PDF files - slower but more informative in the file browser.
Number lines Displays line numbers in the margin when viewing text files.
Support EPUB e-books Enables viewing of EPUB e-book files in the built-in reader.
Support Office documents Enables viewing of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office-format documents.
Support PDF documents Enables viewing of PDF files in the built-in document viewer.
Support text files (.txt, .md, .log, .json, .xml) Enables viewing of plain text files (.txt, .md, .log, .json, .xml) in the built-in viewer.

Streams

Setting What it does
Clear play marks Clears the green and red play marks on all channels. The channels themselves stay.
Streams Opens the Streams screen for internet audio, video and RTSP sources, where you can add or import streams and play them.
Updating the channel list Chooses when the app refreshes the channel list - only when you ask, by offering an update when you open Streams, or automatically on Wi-Fi.
Show by default Sets which channels the Streams screen shows by default - all of them, only audio, or only video.
Default order Sets the order channels appear in when you open the Streams screen.
Enable Streams Master switch for the Streams feature. When off, the Streams item is hidden from the main menu and the welcome screen.

Other

Setting What it does
Retry Retries initializing the translation engine if the previous attempt failed.
OCR & translation downloads Manages downloadable OCR and translation components.
Enable text recognition Enables on-device text recognition (OCR) so you can extract text from images.
Enable Translation Enables on-device text translation of recognized text.
OCR Engine Selects which on-device text-recognition engine is used for OCR.
OCR Font Family Sets the font family used to display recognized OCR text.
OCR Font Size Sets the font size used to display recognized OCR text.
PaddleOCR Model Selects which PaddleOCR model is used for text recognition.
Translation result in blocks Displays translation results in overlay blocks on top of the image instead of a separate panel.
Original Language Chooses the source language that recognized text is translated from.
Translate To Chooses the target language that recognized text is translated into.

Playback

Setting What it does
Reset Player settings Restores all Player settings in this section to their factory defaults.
Show Hint Next Time Schedules the touch zones hint to appear the next time the player opens.
Slideshow (s) Sets the default number of seconds each slide is shown during a slideshow.
Background audio playback Settings for background audio playback - keep audio playing in the background, what happens on exit from the player or streams, and the now-playing bar.
Deletion and renaming in player Settings for deleting and renaming files while inside the player.
Player interface and commands Settings for the player’s visual interface, control buttons, and command layout.
Send file to.. Settings for the “Send file to..” commands shown in the player.
Sorting, slideshow and playback order Settings for file sort order, slideshow behavior, and playback sequence.
Touch zones and on-screen hints Settings for the player’s tap-zone layout and on-screen usage hints.
Allow delete Allows deleting the current file directly from inside the player.
Allow rename Allows renaming the current file directly from inside the player.
Always show touch zones overlay Keeps the touch zone grid permanently visible over the player instead of showing it only on tap.
Big Buttons Mode Enlarges the player control buttons for easier tapping on large or touch-only screens.
Confirm delete Shows a confirmation dialog before deleting a file from inside the player.
Disable 9-zone tracking Turns off the 9-zone touch grid; the fullscreen player switches to a simpler 3-zone layout (previous / zoom / next) with a left-edge command-panel area.
Background Playback Keeps audio playing when you leave the app or lock the screen.
Enable Picture-in-Picture Enables Picture-in-Picture mode so the video continues in a floating window when you leave the player.
Rotate player screen with OS auto-rotate Rotates the player screen with the device auto-rotate setting, independently of the program-wide toggle.
Hide OS UI in fullscreen Hides the status bar and navigation bar when the player is in fullscreen mode.
Show 3D content from one eye Renders 3D side-by-side content using only one eye’s perspective for regular (non-VR) viewing.
Play video/audio in slideshow to end Waits for video or audio to finish playing before advancing to the next slide in a slideshow.
Show “Black Screen” button Shows a button in the player that blanks the screen while audio continues playing.
Show command panel by default Keeps the player command panel visible by default instead of hiding it after a timeout.
Show now-playing panel Shows a persistent now-playing panel at the bottom of the file browser.
Show touch zones hint on first run Shows an overlay hint explaining the touch zones the first time the player opens.
Compact player buttons Uses smaller, more compact player control buttons to save screen space.

Destinations

Setting What it does

Edit app panel Opens the editor for the app panel, where you choose and arrange the apps shown on it.
Open accessibility settings Opens the Android accessibility settings, needed to grant gesture overlay permission. This enables silent screenshots only - screen video recording always asks Android for its own permission (the ‘this app / entire screen’ chooser) at the start of every recording, and that step cannot be skipped.
Set as default Opens the Default app dialog, where you can register this app as the default handler for images, audio, video, and documents.
Reset Management settings Restores all Management settings in this section to their factory defaults.
Select resource.. Selects the destination resource where camera photos are saved.
Select resource.. Chooses the destination resource where files from incoming links are downloaded automatically.
Select resource.. Selects the destination resource where microphone recordings are saved.

Geotag photos Saves your GPS location in the EXIF of photos taken with the built-in camera. Needs location permission and is off by default.
Only OCR (no translation) Runs OCR on the captured photo but skips translation, showing only the recognized text.
Camera OCR translation Recognizes and translates text in the photo taken with the built-in camera.
Open captured photo for editing Opens the captured photo in an image editor immediately after shooting.
Enable photo capture Enables the built-in camera button so you can capture photos directly into the app.
Confirm before delete Shows a confirmation dialog before deleting a file from inside the player.

Down gesture action Chooses the action triggered by the downward swipe on the lower-left edge band.
Right gesture action Chooses the action triggered by the inward swipe on the lower-left edge band.
Up gesture action Chooses the action triggered by the upward swipe on the lower-left edge band.
Down gesture action Chooses the action triggered by the downward swipe on the upper-left edge band.
Right gesture action Chooses the action triggered by the inward swipe on the upper-left edge band.
